Meet our Founders

Founded by Women in Polo for Women in Polo, the Canadian Women’s Open Polo Championship was born to celebrate the achievements of Canadian Women in polo, both past and present. Canada has long been home to women’s polo players, teams and tournaments. Emily and Molly created this event to celebrate all that came before and those that are up and coming in the sport.

Emily has worked in polo for the past 9 years. She currently manages the Calgary Polo Club in the summer and spends her winters at Eldorado Polo Club in California managing their women’s polo program and Academy.

Previously, Emily managed and played at the Toronto Polo School, Polo Management Services, and the Calgary Polo Academy. She specializes in women’s polo and introducing new players to the sport.

Emily has been lucky enough to compete in women’s tournaments in Toronto, Calgary, Palm Springs, Boston, Argentina and Germany.
